Five For Friday!

Whoop Whoop it's Friday! This week seemed to FLY by. Summer needs to slow it's roll a bit!!

Happy to be linking up again with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday.

On the Computer this week: I have been still working on my Math Curriculum! Almost through with Unit 3 and therefore the first 9 weeks. It hasn't been easy though between all the packing and the binge watching of The 100 on Netflix. I've also been putting the finishing touches on my friend's new blog. Hoping to launch her next week!

In my life this week: I have been doing Cynthia Sass's five day, five food fast forward diet this week. It's a cleanse focusing on five foods: spinach, eggs, yogurt, raspberries, almonds

You eat four meals a day: a scramble, a smoothie, a parfait, and a salad. I substituted strawberries for the raspberries because my supermarkets were extremely proud of their raspberries and wanted a fortune for a small little pint and I needed 20 pints. Yeah, that wasn't happening! I've read on some SASS message boards that other berries could be substituted with good results. Good results? I lost 7 pounds in the 5 days!! Uh, GREAT results!

Also, here was a fun sign at our Trader Joe's:
Stone Fruit Troopers. LOVE!

In the kitchen this week: Cookies!!!!!!!!!
I have the annual Vicknair Family Reunion Saturday so I baked and decorated cookies to look like a family tree. My inspiration came from Pinterest (obviously!):

Click on my picture above for my cookie recipe!

Here are our shirts! Aren't they so stinkin' adorable???

Life with the kid this week: Yep. There it is. Freshman.

We received her summer reading list and she has to read 3 novels. I'm so excited about this first one!
I think she is going to love it! Also, The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen and City of Ember.

Professional Work this week:
This is all I've been doing. Pinteresting away. I am simply amazed at all of the brilliant ideas that teachers come up with and share. I love looking through the education boards of my colleagues and getting some ideas for next year! It is never too early to start preparing.

Well that's it for this week! Family Reunion tomorrow and then to finish packing for the move!

Have a great weekend y'all!!!
